Com4 Picks Nokia 5G Standalone Core for Global IoT

Com4, a leading full MVNO and part of the Wireless Logic Group, has selected Nokia’s 5G Standalone (SA) Core to support its global IoT service expansion. The deployment will allow Com4 to scale low-latency, high-bandwidth IoT offerings across diverse industries including transport, energy, healthcare, and security. Nokia’s future-ready 5G Core architecture supports all generations of radio access technologies (2G to 5G SA), while enabling key features like fixed wireless access and satellite broadband connectivity.

Nokia’s solution equips Com4 with powerful capabilities, including SIM-level service control, LPWA support (LTE-M, NB-IoT, RedCap), and multi-IMSI routing for global redundancy. Additional features like appliance-based edge gateways for local compliance, robust MPLS integration, secure VPN and cloud interconnects, and full API support make the solution particularly well-suited for dynamic enterprise needs. This deployment strengthens Com4’s positioning as a global IoT enabler and highlights Nokia’s role in helping operators scale B2B services with precision and flexibility.

“Enterprise IoT demands more than connectivity. It requires flexibility and security built-in,” said Martin Nord, CTO and CPO at Com4. “With this core, we can customize services per device, control deployments globally, and respond faster to new market needs.”
