ADVA Enhances its FSP 150 Ethernet Access Device

ADVA Optical Networking rolled out new capabilities for its Fiber Service Platform (FSP) 150 series including a Gigabit Ethernet port, a new tandem node protection mechanism, and an enhanced customer premise demarcation unit. Release 2.0 of the ADVA FSP 150 is aimed at supporting new Ethernet transport applications, such as backhauling traffic from an IP DSLAM. Key features of the FSP 150 include:
