Alvarion will integrate ArrayComm’s multi-antenna signal processing software (A-MASTM) into its 4Motion’s Radio Access Network Solutions. Alvarion’s WiMAX platform using ArrayComm’s software is expected to offer 2 to 4 times more coverage and spectral efficiency than the WiMAX Forum’s baseline profiles, through a unique combination of beamforming, MIMO and adaptive interference cancellation.
