BT has begun deploying 2Wire HomePortal intelligent gateways to connect subscribers as part of its Next Generation Access (NGA) strategy. The 2Wire HomePortal 2701HGV is a TR-069 standard-compliant intelligent residential gateway that features simplified self-installation, an ADSL2+ modem, an Ethernet network interface, a wireless router for whole-home wireless coverage, support for VoIP, and a firewall.http://www.2wire.com
