C3ntro Telecom has announced the Tikva Project, a landmark 2,500-kilometer fiber optic network connecting Phoenix, Arizona, to Querétaro, Mexico — the first new long-haul fiber route of its kind in over 25 years. Designed for hyperscalers, cloud providers, and carriers, Tikva offers fully underground, multi-duct, low-latency connectivity along a diverse Pacific corridor. Construction began in March 2025, with service expected to launch in Q4 2026. The network enables 100G/400G/800G wavelength services and dark fiber access, linking two of North America’s most important AI data center hubs with a unified SLA across both nations.
Tikva includes 29 intermediate landing points with edge data center capabilities throughout Mexico and the U.S., and features a new, diverse cross-border path through Nogales to enhance regional resiliency. By uniting major digital infrastructure centers, C3ntro positions itself as the first provider to offer seamless, cross-border fiber services at hyperscale quality. The project highlights C3ntro’s 30-year legacy in Latin American telecom innovation and underscores its ambition to redefine regional and international connectivity with infrastructure purpose-built for AI and next-gen workloads.
