Charter and Comcast Partner with T-Mobile for Business MVNO

Charter Communications and Comcast have signed a multi-year exclusive agreement with T-Mobile to provide mobile services to business customers through a new MVNO arrangement set to launch in 2026. The deal enables Charter and Comcast to expand their business-focused wireless offerings by leveraging T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G and LTE network. Services will be marketed under the Spectrum Mobile for Business and Comcast Business Mobile brands.

The new partnership builds on Charter and Comcast’s existing MVNO operations, which currently support over 18 million mobile lines across residential and business markets. While the companies already operate under a shared MVNO model for current services, this new agreement specifically targets the business segment with a wholesale-only model. T-Mobile, which has over two decades of experience providing wholesale wireless services, will deliver connectivity while Charter and Comcast develop tailored mobile solutions combining WiFi, CBRS-based private cellular, and nationwide 5G.

The companies emphasized the cost-effective, capital-light nature of the deal, positioning it as a strategic move to accelerate wireless growth in the enterprise segment. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“This partnership complements what our T-Mobile for Business group already offers and expands the reach of T-Mobile’s network to even more business customers beyond those we currently serve,” said Omar Tazi, EVP and Chief Product and Digital Officer at T-Mobile.

🌐 Why it Matters: This agreement underscores the growing importance of convergence in enterprise connectivity, blending wireline and wireless services across broadband, WiFi, and 5G. As businesses demand more flexible and mobile-first solutions, operators like Comcast and Charter are leveraging MVNO strategies to remain competitive against legacy mobile carriers and rising private network deployments. T-Mobile gains incremental wholesale revenue while deepening its presence in the enterprise market.
