Russian carrier GlobalNet will upgrade its metro optical network using Ciena’s 4200 Advanced Services Platform. The deployment will include Ciena’s 40G technology and WaveLogic coherent optical processors. GlobalNet is a long stranding Ciena customer. Financial terms were not disclosed. http://www.ciena.com
