Mindspeed Demos Single-Chip eNodeB Chip for LTE Small Cells

At Mobile World Congress, Mindspeed will demonstrate over-the-air (OTA) transmission, in the 2.6GHz spectrum, of high-definition (HD) video powered by its “Transcede” wireless baseband processor.

In collaboration with companies Interphase Corporation, Continuous Computing and Ixia, Mindspeed will host live LTE picocell demonstrations of its LTE base station solution offering 3GPP Release 8-compliant LTE Layer 1, Layer 2 and Layer 3 processing with picocell performance.
