NetFoundry Lands $12 Million to Drive Secure-by-Design Networking

NetFoundry announced a $12 million investment led by SYN Ventures to accelerate the deployment of its secure-by-design networking model. Already serving eight of the top ten U.S. banks and critical infrastructure across three continents, NetFoundry aims to replace traditional WAN, SASE, and firewall architectures with software-driven, zero trust networking embedded directly into enterprise and industrial solutions.

Founded by CEO Galeal Zino, NetFoundry provides a “network-as-code” approach that delivers military-grade security without the operational complexity typically associated with legacy networking models. Clients include two of the top five Fortune 500 companies, alongside partners such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Arrow, and the U.S. military. NetFoundry’s software enables enterprises to develop once, deploy anywhere, and deliver securely everywhere, without dependence on underlay networks, specific clouds, or static IP architectures.

The new funding supports NetFoundry’s expansion as AI-driven applications drive greater demand for simplified, sovereign, and secure networking models. NetFoundry also maintains OpenZiti, the world’s most widely used open-source zero trust software, reinforcing its leadership in the emerging network-as-code sector.

“This is the iPhone moment for secure networking. NetFoundry’s approach is revolutionary in that it enables military-grade security, but with the speed and extensibility of software,” said Galeal Zino, Founder and CEO of NetFoundry.
