Occam Networks announced that Brian Strom has been elected to the company’s board of directors. Strom served as president and CEO of SureWest Communications from 1993-2005. He has also served as chairman of US Telecom from October 2003 to October 2004 and as chairman of the California Communications Association (CalCom) from February 2001 to February 2002.
