Deutsche Telekom has named Lars Neumann to lead its newly consolidated T Cloud division, effective July 1, 2025. Neumann will oversee the Group-wide integration of all cloud activities, uniting efforts from Telekom Deutschland and T-Systems under one umbrella. His mandate includes end-to-end responsibility for sales, development, and delivery of cloud services across the company’s B2B portfolio.
The move aims to streamline access to Deutsche Telekom’s public and private cloud solutions under a unified “T Cloud” brand. Business customers—from SMEs to large enterprises—will be able to select customized, sovereign cloud services from a single, scalable platform. T Cloud will offer a multi-cloud environment tailored to European legal frameworks, meeting growing demand for secure and sovereignty-focused IT infrastructure.
Positioning cloud as a central pillar of its B2B strategy, Deutsche Telekom is responding to heightened geopolitical sensitivity and market demand for alternatives to U.S.-based hyperscalers. “With T Cloud, we are bundling the cloud expertise of the entire Deutsche Telekom Group,” said Rodrigo Diehl, CEO of Telekom Deutschland. “This means maximum security, maximum availability—and a true partner on an equal footing.”
