Chunghwa Telecom, the incumbent operator in Taiwan, has acquired a 21-percent stake in Elta Technology Co Ltd, a local company that delivers digital content to Chunghwa Telecom’s mobile users and Internet TV subscribers as well as other mobile carriers.
