Axiado Introduces AI-Integrated Secure Control and Management SoC

Axiado unveiled its AX3080 Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU) at Computex 2025, a new single-chip platform designed to support secure control and management in cloud and AI infrastructure. The SoC integrates memory, flash storage, and platform security components—including Root of Trust, TPM, BMC, and real-time AI-based threat detection—within a 25x25mm² package. This integrated approach aims to reduce board complexity, improve power efficiency, and provide silicon-level security capabilities for data centers.

The AX3080 builds on earlier generations of Axiado’s TCU architecture and is designed for compatibility with server platforms based on NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD technologies. The chip features 4GB LPDDR4 memory, 16GB eMMC storage, and 1Gb SPI NOR Flash, along with four neural network processors (NNPs) delivering 4 TOPS for on-chip anomaly detection. It supports PCIe Gen4, 10GbE, multiple I/O interfaces, and is designed to be post-quantum cryptography (PQC) ready.

In addition to the AX3080, Axiado introduced the SCM3080-MT secure management card for NVIDIA-based systems. Built around the same SoC, the module is intended for OEM and ODM partners seeking to enhance platform security in server and edge environments. Axiado states the new solutions are intended for adoption in hyperscale environments requiring hardware-anchored security at scale. Sampling of both products is underway, with production expected in Q4 2025.

  • Axiado’s AX3080 combines TCU, 4GB DRAM, 16GB eMMC, and flash in a single chip.
  • Includes Root of Trust, BMC, TPM, SmartNIC, and Secure Vault with support for PQC.
  • Offers PCIe Gen4, 10GbE, USB, HDMI, and broad I/O options for server integration.
  • SCM3080-MT card integrates AX3080 for use in NVIDIA server platforms.
  • Designed for deployment in AI data centers and cloud infrastructure.

“By unifying memory, storage, and our TCU into a single integrated solution, we’re shrinking the hardware footprint, reducing the threat surface, and enabling real-time, silicon-level threat detection,” said Gopi Sirineni, CEO of Axiado.
