Ekinops has been selected as the strategic technology partner for Telegraph42’s latest long-haul optical upgrade, aimed at expanding international traffic bandwidth across Eurasia. The project leverages Ekinops’ PM 200FRS02-2 platform to implement a 100G alien wavelength solution, increasing the capacity of Telegraph42’s existing DWDM infrastructure without the need for signal regeneration—reducing cost and complexity.
Launched in May 2024, the initiative targets high-performance, low-latency data routes crucial for regional IP transit. Ekinops’ FlexRate™ technology enables seamless integration of alien wavelengths over equipment from multiple vendors, offering operators like Telegraph42 flexibility and efficiency. The solution addresses increasing demand for bandwidth from telecom partners, supporting the company’s role as a critical connectivity provider in Eurasia.
Telegraph42 operates high-speed optical corridors across Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and beyond. With Ekinops’ support, the network can scale rapidly while maintaining service continuity and cost control.
