euNetworks Appoints Nick Walden as CRO

euNetworks has appointed industry veteran Nick Walden as Chief Revenue Officer, effective 2 December 2025, strengthening its commercial leadership as demand for high-capacity European bandwidth continues to rise. Walden will be based in London and oversee all aspects of the company’s sales and commercial strategy.

Walden arrives with more than 30 years of experience in optical networking and telecom infrastructure. He previously led global sales at Infinera—acquired earlier this year by Nokia—and earlier ran the company’s EMEA business. His background also includes a decade in leadership roles at Ciena, where he focused on carrier and data-center-interconnect solutions. euNetworks operates 18 metro fibre networks and a long-haul backbone across 53 cities in 17 European markets, directly connecting more than 582 data centers.

As cloud, AI, and data-center-to-data-center traffic accelerate across Europe, euNetworks continues to invest in long-haul and metro fibre capacity, cloud on-ramps, and interconnect density. Walden’s appointment follows the company’s ongoing expansion of cloud connectivity, now offering over 180 cloud access on-ramps across its footprint.
