Lantiq Highlights IPv6-Ready CPE Status

June 3, 2012
in All
A A

Lantiq confirmed that its XWAY xDSL and network processor Systems-on-Chip (SoCs) and UGW software suite received the “IPv6 CE Ready? designation after successful tests at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL). This assures that manufacturers of home routers/gateways are enabled to develop future-ready solutions based on Lantiq chips and software. IPv6 certification testing was conducted on Lantiq’s portfolio of dedicated ADSL2/2+, VDSL2 and Gigabit Ethernet SoCs to ensure that customer premises router/gateway can be enabled to support IPv6 connectivity to the Internet.

Lantiq is taking part in World IPv6 Launch Day on June 6. http://www.lantiq.com
