RIM Blames Second BlackBerry Outage on Switch Failure

Research in Motion suffered a second day of widespread outage and slow downs on its BlackBerry service across multiple carrier networks in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Brazil, Chile and Argentina. In a tweet, the company blamed the problems on a core switch failure in its infrastructure.
