Huawei reportedly has formed a partnership with Amerilink Telecom, a new company based in Overland Park, Kansas, to help its entry into the North American market.
Amerilink Telecom is headed by Kevin Packingham (CEO), who until recently was the Senior Vice President of Product and Technology Development for Sprint Nextel. Its management team includes Admiral (ret.) William Owens (former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and CEO of Nortel and Teledesic); Mark Kenyon (Principal), formerly at Sprint and Embarq; Alan Pritchard (Principal), formerly at Nortel; Jeff Lynch (Principal), formerly at Sprint and Embarq; and George Finn (Principal), formerly at AT&T, Sprint, and Embarq. http://amerilinktel.com/http://www.huawei.com
