Equinix launched a new corporate brand to mark its 10th anniversary. 
The company said its new logo, which represents a fortress structure, symbolizes the critical role that it plays in safeguarding its customers’ information assets. In addition, with the increasingly global nature of its business, Equinix’s Internet Business Exchange (IBX) data centers will be re-branded as “International Business Exchange” data centers, representing Equinix’s evolution beyond Internet connectivity to global network connectivity.
The new brand initiative comes one year after the acquisition of leading European colocation services provider IXEurope, which provided Equinix with an extensive presence in the European market.http://www.equinix.com
