Acme Packet Posts Q3 Revenue of $29.6 Million

Acme Packet reported Q3 revenue of $29.6 million, an increase of 33% compared to total revenues of $22.3 million for the same period last year. Earnings before taxes for the three-month period ended September 30, 2007 grew to a record $8.2 million, an increase of 15% compared to earnings before taxes of $7.1 million for the same period last year. Net income for the three-month period ended September 30, 2007 was $5.5 million, or $0.08 per share on a diluted basis compared to net income of $6.8 million, or $0.12 per share on a diluted basis for the same period last year. The company also raised its financial guidance.
