Siemens Previews New HiPath System for Trading Floors

A A

Siemens Enterprise Communications introduced its HiPath Trading System V4.0, a pure IP-based communications solution designed for fast-paced trading floors.

The new release offers an open Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) interface and application interface to allow the seamless integration of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, voice recording, instant messaging, presence and a host of other productivity-enhancing capabilities.

For user terminals, the HiPath Trading solution offers both an all-new, VoIP-based hard client turret, High End Communications Terminal Open Range (Hector), with a touchscreen and extended feature set as well as Windows XP-based soft-clients. Each model provides for the integration of extensive multimedia capabilities, including voice, email, video conferencing and instant messaging. The system can also support legacy TDM (Time-Division Multiplexing) terminals and provides an open migration path from a TDM architecture.
