Metalink’s WLANPlus chipset has been integrated into an LG set top box. The STB provides wireless delivery of multiple high-definition video streams in the home.
“LG believes that 802.11n based technology will be widely used in the near future to provide multiple High-Definition video streams throughout the home,” said Dr. Taekil Cho, vice president at LG DTV.
