Verilink announced the appointment of Thi Nguyen to Vice President of Engineering. Previously, he was the Vice President of Software Engineering at Polaris Networks, where he led the development of a next-generation, multiservice optical digital cross connect product. Prior to Polaris, Nguyen was a Director of Engineering at Cisco Systems, where he led a 100+ member team across multiple sites that was responsible for the development of software and hardware platforms for Cisco’s voice and media gateway products.
