Veraz Networks has appointed Douglas A. Sabella as its President and CEO, succeeding Dr. Tal Simchony, who will assume a strategic role at the company. Sabella formerly served at Lucent as the Vice President responsible for the OSS and Intelligent Networking businesses. Later, he was named President of the Octel Messaging Division.
