Marconi to Provide DSL Test Solution to Puerto Rico Telephone

Puerto Rico Telephone will deploy a $1.6 million Marconi solution for the testing and pre-qualification of its copper lines in advance of Puerto Rico Telephone’s planned network upgrade to offer DSL. Marconi is providing the hardware and software required for the testing, as well as a standards-based interface to Puerto Rico Telephone’s network management platform.
