NEC to Resell Overture Networks' Metro Ethernet

NEC signed a multi-year worldwide reseller agreement with Overture Networks, a start-up based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina that offers multi-service products for metro Ethernet/IP networks. Overture Networks has developed an IP-centric intelligent edge solution that bridges TDM and packet. The company’s ISG 5000 platform enables the aggregation of Ethernet and traditional TDM voice, data, and video circuits over metro Ethernet infrastructure. Product details have not been publicly announced.
