LambdaNet Communications extended the reach of its pan-European IP network to Washington D.C. Direct connectivity to New York has been available since August 2002. LambdaNet said its international network expansion is focused on profitable routes.

- In October 2002, LambdaNet Communications GmbH secured a EUR 64 million credit facility to fund its network expansion.
