Oracle has announced a significant partnership with AT&T, integrating AT&T’s IoT connectivity and network APIs into Oracle’s Enterprise Communications Platform (ECP). This collaboration will empower Oracle’s industry cloud application customers to seamlessly connect and manage their IoT devices on AT&T’s network, enhancing the reliability and security of communications. Built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), this all-in-one solution streamlines the process for businesses by eliminating the complexity of managing separate integrations and network contracts.

The partnership is particularly impactful for Oracle’s Public Safety Suite, where AT&T’s FirstNet® plays a crucial role. This integration provides secure, near real-time communications, essential for public safety operations such as dispatch command centers and live camera feeds for first responders. The collaboration aims to deliver a new generation of industry applications across various sectors, from automated utility grid management to enhanced telehealth services, leveraging the full potential of 5G connectivity.
