Cerebras Signs Aramco to Accelerate AI in Saudi Arabia

Cerebras Systems has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s Aramco to accelerate the deployment of AI across industries, universities, and enterprises in the region. The agreement focuses on leveraging Cerebras’ CS-3 systems to advance AI innovations, particularly in training and deploying large language models (LLMs). The initiative is aimed at fostering AI adoption in Saudi Arabia, supporting local businesses and academic institutions with cutting-edge AI infrastructure.

Aramco plans to integrate Cerebras’ CS-3 AI systems into its high-performance computing infrastructure, enabling organizations in the region to develop and optimize LLMs. The collaboration between Cerebras and Aramco is expected to help drive AI-driven solutions and advancements across multiple sectors, from academia to industry, creating opportunities for local AI talent and expertise to flourish. The project underscores Saudi Arabia’s ambitions to build an AI-powered economy and localize advanced technologies.

Andrew Feldman, co-founder and CEO of Cerebras, emphasized the importance of this partnership in pushing AI boundaries. With Aramco’s backing, the deployment of low-latency, high-performance AI computing in Saudi Arabia will unlock new capabilities for businesses, promote innovation, and encourage sustainable solutions across various sectors.
