Advantech has expanded its lineup of x86 platforms featuring AMD EPYC™ and Ryzen™ processors, aimed at applications in edge computing, cloud, and network security. This release leverages the latest AMD EPYC™ 9004 and 8004 series processors, offering up to 128 cores, PCIe Gen5, DDR5 memory, and GPU acceleration capabilities. The AMD Ryzen™ Embedded 7000 and V3000 series bring advanced I/O scalability, integrated AMD Radeon™ graphics, and robust security features like AMD Secure Processors.

The new platforms include SKY series servers, industrial motherboards, and network appliances tailored for diverse industries such as AI, telecom, and industrial automation. Key models like the SKY-602E3 server support heavy workloads with GPU acceleration, while the AIMB-723 industrial motherboard integrates legacy and advanced interfaces for automation tasks. The FWA-6183 and FWA-5082 network appliances ensure scalable, secure operations with high-performance cores and modular design for expanding connectivity.

• SKY-721E3/821E3: AMD EPYC™ 9004 processors, up to 128 cores, and 11 PCIe Gen5 slots for edge AI applications.

• Industrial Motherboard:

• AIMB-723: Powered by AMD Ryzen™ 7000 processors, offering USB 3.2 Gen2, dual 2.5Gbps Ethernet, and legacy PCI support.

• Network Appliances:

• FWA-6183: Dual AMD EPYC™ 9004 processors, up to 192 cores, and 8 NMC slots for data centers.

• FWA-1081: Cost-effective SMB solution with Ryzen™ Embedded V3000 processors, PoE+ support, and optional 5G modules.

“Our collaboration with AMD enables us to deliver powerful and scalable solutions tailored for industries demanding performance, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability,” said an Advantech spokesperson.
