Allied Telesis will resell Aperto Networks’ carrier-grade PacketMAX products, starting with the 2.5 GHz platform, for the Japanese market. Upon frequency band approval, the partnership will enable Allied, a global provider of secure Ethernet/IP access solutions, to quickly enter the potentially burgeoning WiMAX market in Japan.
