The Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) has been improved with new functionality that opens up virtual networking capabilities to a much broader set of use cases.
Amazon is now supporting direct Internet access into a Virtual Private Cloud. Previously, you needed it was only accessible via an IPsec Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to your corporate datacenter.
Amazon is now making it possible to define a virtual network topology that closely resembles a traditional network that you might operate in your own datacenter.
