Apple Confirms $2 Billion Investment in European Data Centers

On its quarterly conference call, Apple confirmed plans to invest $2 billion on data centers in Ireland and Denmark. These will be Apple’s largest data centers in the world and will be 100% powered by renewable energy.

The company notes that 100% of it U.S. operations and 87% of global operations are running on renewable energy.
