Arelion has launched a new Point-of-Presence (PoP) at RACK59’s Oklahoma City data center, expanding access to its Tier-1 global network and North American AI Superhighway. The new PoP strengthens high-capacity and low-latency connectivity options for enterprises, carriers, and regional broadband providers while supporting the growing ecosystem of AI, cloud, gaming, and streaming applications in Oklahoma.
The expansion delivers customers access to Arelion’s global fiber backbone and services including Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), IP Transit, Cloud Connect, scalable Waves, Ethernet, and DDoS mitigation. The Oklahoma City PoP connects directly to major regional hubs and education networks, enhancing redundancy and security. The move comes amid a surge of technology investment in Oklahoma, highlighted by Google’s $9 billion data center expansion and over $13.7 million in new infrastructure projects this year.
RACK59’s 315-megawatt (MW) colocation campus provides robust power, seven-layer physical security, and extensive fiber connectivity to support energy-intensive AI and cloud workloads. Arelion’s new PoP leverages this infrastructure to meet rising demand for scalable, predictable network performance and to accelerate digital transformation across the state’s enterprise and industrial sectors.
