Aryaka has announced the launch of its Cyber Threat Research Lab (CTRL), a proactive research initiative aimed at identifying, analyzing, and mitigating emerging cyber threats in network security. Under the leadership of Aditya Sood, VP of Security Engineering and AI Strategy, the lab will conduct real-world threat evaluations and collaborate with industry threat intelligence groups to ensure Aryaka’s Unified SASE as a Service remains at the forefront of cybersecurity. CTRL’s ongoing research and insights will enhance Aryaka’s OnePASS architecture by providing advanced threat detection, focusing on evolving risks such as those targeting AI systems.

In addition to the lab’s debut, Aryaka has expanded its leadership team with the promotion of Vidyaranya Maddi to Chief Customer Officer and the hiring of Scott Fanning as VP of Security Product Management. Maddi, a 12-year Aryaka veteran, will lead customer success initiatives with a focus on enhancing service quality and customer retention, contributing to Aryaka’s industry-leading customer satisfaction scores. Fanning, formerly of Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike, brings over 25 years of cybersecurity expertise to drive the company’s security innovation and product development, focusing on AI-driven threat mitigation and SASE advancements.
