AT&T Launches Unified SASE Offering with Cisco

AT&T has become the first major North American service provider to offer a single-vendor Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution built entirely on Cisco Secure Access technology. The new service, branded AT&T SASE with Cisco, integrates Cisco’s cloud-native security stack and SD-WAN with AT&T’s global networking infrastructure to deliver a unified platform for enterprise network access and protection.

The offering is designed to address growing enterprise demand for streamlined security architectures that eliminate the complexity of fragmented, multi-vendor solutions. It provides multilayered defense through Secure Service Edge (SSE), intelligent routing and application optimization via SD-WAN, and deep observability from edge to cloud. Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), firewall-as-a-service, and secure web gateways are core components of the bundled Cisco security stack.

Targeted at both mid-sized firms and globally distributed enterprises, the solution simplifies network operations with centralized policy enforcement and automated workflows. Multi-cloud connectivity and real-time threat intelligence are built-in, enabling businesses to protect users, devices, and data while optimizing performance at scale.

  • Combines AT&T’s global network with Cisco’s secure SD-WAN and SSE technologies
  • Enables Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), firewall-as-a-service, and secure web gateway
  • Supports edge-to-cloud observability, threat detection, and automation
  • Offers centralized policy control and simplified IT management
  • Targets mid-sized to global enterprises seeking unified SASE architecture
  • Available now via AT&T Business representatives

“We’re proud to work with AT&T to deliver a unified SASE solution with industry-leading security and performance that today’s businesses demand,” said Raj Chopra, SVP and Chief Product Officer, Cisco Security.

🌐 Analysis: The joint launch further consolidates Cisco’s position in the fast-growing SASE market, following its recent enhancements to the Secure Access and SD-WAN portfolio. For AT&T, the single-vendor approach enables differentiation in a crowded enterprise connectivity market while reducing deployment friction. The partnership also aligns with broader industry moves—such as Verizon’s recent Fortinet expansion and Lumen’s SASE pivot—to offer tighter security integration amid escalating threats and hybrid work demands.
