When employed in customer support scenarios, 2Wire CMS remotely performs real-time diagnostic checks on the AAPT gateway supplied to the customer. Data is collected from the CPE and filtered through a diagnostic engine to convert complex data into simple, straightforward, actionable indicators that allow the quick assessment of customer problem areas.
CMS is industry compliant with TR-069, TR-098, TR-104, and TR-106 communication protocols and can be used for basic broadband data, VoIP, IPTV, or Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC)/dual-mode services. For CPE interoperability, 2Wire utilizes the DSL Forum’s PD-128 standard, while continuing to drive additional standards such as WT-131 and WT-132 for auto-configuration server (ACS) northbound interfaces.
