The BCD Forum has formed a European based consensus group to develop, standardize and support an open model for interactive entertainment services over broadband DSL. The group, which was officially launched in March 2003 and which later merged into the BCD Forum, includes service providers such as Telecom Italia, FastWeb, BT and Swisscom along with content industry heavyweights Disney, BBC and Movielink. The European group’s service delivery architecture has been adopted by the BCD Forum as a portion of the working text toward the “Content-to-Network Signaling” Technology Working Group. http://www.bcdforum.org
