BellSouth will deploy Tektronix’s GeoProbe VoIP monitoring solution throughout its IP network to provide end-to-end performance monitoring. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Tektronix’ GeoProbe monitoring solution collects all signaling information related to VoIP traffic and provides the ability to trace a call across multiple protocols and networks. The proactive nature of the solution facilitates early detection of network problems and enables BellSouth to quickly isolate and correct problems for greater levels of service quality.
