Celona Expands 5G Neutral Host Coverage with AT&T Certification

Celona has expanded its private 5G neutral host solution to now include AT&T subscribers, in addition to its existing support for T-Mobile. The certified solution, branded as Celona Neutral Host, extends public cellular coverage indoors using CBRS spectrum, seamlessly connecting smartphones and tablets with AT&T or T-Mobile SIMs/eSIMs to Celona’s 5G LAN. The user experience remains identical to connecting with a carrier’s regular network, with no user configuration needed.

At the core of Celona’s offering is its Multi Operator Exchange (MOXN), a cloud-based software platform that creates secure tunnels between Celona’s indoor 5G network and public operator cores. This technology supports up to five concurrent carrier broadcasts, while allowing for dedicated private network access. With certification from AT&T following successful testing and a production trial with Stanford Health Care, Celona’s solution now meets stringent performance and regulatory standards, including support for e911 and emergency services.

• Certified support for both AT&T and T-Mobile subscribers over Celona Neutral Host

• Leverages CBRS spectrum for seamless in-building public cellular coverage

• MOXN software platform aggregates and securely tunnels subscriber traffic to carrier cores

• No special setup required; subscribers connect automatically with full MNO service continuity

• Reduces costs and deployment time vs. legacy DAS systems

• Supports up to five advertised MNOs and a private 5G network concurrently

• AP 20 multimode access point supports both 4G and 5G indoor connectivity

• Stanford Health Care validates solution in live trial, plans Bay Area expansion

Mehmet Yavuz, Co-founder and CTO at Celona: “Celona Neutral Host represents a significant advancement in enterprise connectivity and is an even more compelling solution now that AT&T has joined. Due to their rigorous test and certification process, AT&T can ensure their customers receive the superior cellular service they expect. And enterprises simply sign one contract with Celona. It’s fast, simple and cost effective.”
