Chantry Networks, a start-up based in Boston and, secured an additional $11 million in a Series B round of private equity financing for its routed wireless networking technology. The company offers a scalable IP-based WLAN routing solution for enterprises and service providers. Its design offers network virtualization features that enable differentiated provisioning and policing between different types of user groups, over one physical network.
The round was led by Ventures West and included Flagship Ventures, Primaxis Technology Ventures and Venture Coaches/ Skypoint Capital. http://www.chantrynetworks.com
