Cisco has launched its first jointly developed AI agent in collaboration with Mistral AI, marking a key milestone in their strategic partnership to transform customer experience (CX) with artificial intelligence. The AI Renewals Agent streamlines Cisco’s renewal proposal process, consolidating structured and unstructured data from over 50 sources to provide real-time sentiment analysis, automated recommendations, and personalized insights. This AI-powered solution enhances efficiency, improves customer engagement, and strengthens Cisco’s ability to deliver proactive and predictive CX solutions.

The AI Renewals Agent is built using a custom on-premises AI model, ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance, while enabling performance tuning and cost optimization. Cisco estimates that the agent can reduce the time spent on renewal proposals by up to 20%, with further improvements as automation expands. This development is part of Cisco’s broader AI strategy, leveraging Mistral AI’s advanced generative AI models to enhance customer and employee engagement across its ecosystem.
