Cloudflare closed 2024 with strong financial and network expansion results, underscoring its continued leadership in the connectivity cloud market. The company reported record revenue of $1.67 billion for the year, a 29% increase year-over-year, driven by growing demand for its AI-powered security and networking solutions. Cloudflare also saw a surge in high-value enterprise customers, with the number of customers spending over $1 million annually increasing by 47% to 173. Notably, more than half of these customers were added in the fourth quarter alone, highlighting Cloudflare’s accelerating growth in the enterprise sector.

The company’s global network expansion has been a key driver of its financial success, with over 300 cities worldwide now connected to Cloudflare’s infrastructure. The network processes more than 20% of all internet traffic, enabling real-time security, performance optimization, and AI-driven insights across businesses of all sizes. Cloudflare’s Zero Trust solutions and AI-based networking innovations have been widely adopted, positioning the company as a leader in secure, scalable cloud services. The integration of AI into Cloudflare’s platform has enhanced its ability to analyze and mitigate cyber threats instantly, further boosting customer confidence.

From a financial perspective, Cloudflare reported a GAAP operating loss of $154.8 million for the year, an improvement from 2023, while non-GAAP operating income reached $230.1 million, representing 13.8% of total revenue. The company also significantly increased its cash flow from operations to $380.4 million, reflecting its improved efficiency and business scale. Free cash flow was $166.9 million, marking a strong financial performance despite ongoing investments in AI and network expansion.

Looking ahead to 2025, Cloudflare projects further growth, targeting revenue of approximately $2.09 billion and non-GAAP operating income of up to $276 million. The company remains focused on scaling its network, enhancing AI-driven security solutions, and expanding its global footprint to meet increasing enterprise demand. With AI-driven optimization and a rapidly growing customer base, Cloudflare is well-positioned for another year of strong performance.
