Colt has expanded the reach of its French Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) in Bordeaux, Toulouse and Lille through the innovative Hybrid On Net solution. This solution enables Colt to offer its customers an extended fiber network that partially uses the passive dark fiber of selected metro suppliers, providing enterprises with high-performance, reliable, and secure network services from multiple locations in France and beyond.

Colt is expanding its presence in France by connecting to new local data centers, such as the Colt presence in the Fullsave Datacenter in Toulouse, the Oxya Datacenter in Lille, PAR 8-11 and PAR12 in Paris, and the Thésée Datacenter in Aubergenville.

Colt said the expansion in France marks a major milestone for the company and completes its existing MANs coverage in key French cities like Paris, Lyon, and Marseille, densifying its footprint in six major hubs across France.

Colt also completes the deployment of new Colt IQ Network routes between Paris-Bordeaux, Paris-Toulouse-Zaragoza-Madrid and Paris-Lille-Brussels-Amsterdam. With these new routes, Colt will reinforce the repositioning of France as a key European hub in Europe. These achievements in the Colt backbone pave the way for 100G/400G/Spectrum services to be extended to these 3 major French cities and beyond, to neighbouring countries such as Belgium or Spain, also key investment focus countries to Colt.

“We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our footprint in France,” said Keri Gilder, CEO of Colt Technology Services. “ This expansion is part of our ongoing commitment to enabling digital evolution and transforming the way the world works through the power of connectivity. We are committed to being the digital infrastructure company that helps our customers unlock unprecedented opportunities to expand their digital footprint and achieve their diverse objectives. These new deployments in France significantly boost our ability to delivers extraordinary connections based on our intelligent Colt IQ Network, providing enterprises with the best network for the best experience.”
