Comcast to Promote RealNetworks' Rhapsody Digital Music Service

Comcast will provide its nearly 5 million cable modem users with a co-branded website featuring RealNetworks’ Rhapsody Internet jukebox service. The companies also are launching a free music promotion during November and December. Comcast customers and RealOne users will get seven days of free access to the Rhapsody service, with no credit card required. Comcast customers also receive an exclusive opportunity to burn 10 free songs if they subscribe to the service, which costs $9.95 per month.
