CommScope has expanded its ValuLine HX antenna series with the introduction of the HX6-611-6WH/B, a dual-band, dual-polarized antenna designed to enhance microwave backhaul networks. This new antenna supports both the 6 GHz and 11 GHz frequency bands, offering a high-capacity solution for future network demands while maintaining long-haul connectivity. The HX6-611-6WH/B is engineered to replace up to four standard microwave antennas, significantly reducing installation and operational costs for mobile network operators (MNOs).

The antenna is compliant with FCC Category A and ETSI 302 217 standards, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments. Its design includes high-gain and accurate radiation pattern envelopes, minimizing interference and providing backup for critical links. The compact footprint of the HX6-611-6WH/B, combined with its efficient installation process, helps MNOs scale their networks quickly without increasing the number of antennas on their infrastructure.

• CommScope introduces HX6-611-6WH/B, a dual-band, dual-polarized antenna for microwave backhaul.

• Supports both 6 GHz and 11 GHz bands, providing high-capacity, long-haul connectivity.

• Replaces up to four standard antennas, reducing installation and operational costs.

• Compliant with FCC and ETSI standards, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.

“We designed the new HX6-611-6WH/B antenna to deliver the capacity for tomorrow’s networks in the same footprint as today’s antennas, so our MNO customers can quickly and reliably scale to their networks of the future,” said Mike Guerin, SVP of Outdoor Wireless Networks at CommScope.
