Console Connect, the automated data movement platform by PCCW Global, and Zenlayer, which specializes in edge computing and low-latency networking, have announced a strategic partnership to expand their respective global connectivity ecosystems. Through bilateral API integration, the collaboration combines Console Connect’s carrier-grade network with Zenlayer’s hyperconnected cloud platform, creating a unified connectivity solution for businesses worldwide.

The partnership allows Console Connect to extend its services into high-growth emerging markets such as Southeast Asia and South America, while Zenlayer customers gain access to enhanced cloud and data center locations in Europe, Africa, and North America. The integration ensures agile, on-demand private connectivity that dynamically adjusts to customer needs, optimizing bandwidth use and enhancing cost control. Additionally, Zenlayer’s compute services, including Bare Metal and Virtual Machines, are now available through the newly launched Console Connect Marketplace, which features complementary IT and connectivity services from over 50 providers.

“We are delighted to extend the reach of our automated network and connected ecosystem while helping Zenlayer customers reach further across the globe using a network they can trust,” said Michael Glynn, SVP of Digital Automated Innovation at Console Connect.

• Global Expansion: Console Connect enters emerging markets in Southeast Asia and South America, while Zenlayer extends to developed markets in Europe, Africa, and North America.

• Integrated Ecosystem: API integration ensures seamless, flexible connectivity with on-demand provisioning for hybrid and multi-cloud networks.

• Console Connect Marketplace: Zenlayer compute services, including Bare Metal and VMs, are now accessible through the platform.

• Scalable Bandwidth: Dynamic bandwidth allocation ensures customers only pay for what they need, optimizing costs and improving performance.

• Customer Reach: The partnership strengthens businesses’ ability to compete globally with enhanced network coverage and reliability.

Joe Zhu, founder and CEO of Zenlayer, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating, “By enhancing each other’s platforms and expanding our global ecosystems, we are empowering businesses to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.”
