CoreWeave has partnered with Bulk Infrastructure to deploy one of Europe’s largest NVIDIA AI clusters at the N01 Datacenter Campus in Vennesla, Norway. The project will feature a large-scale NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 cluster interconnected via NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking, significantly expanding AI compute capacity in Norway. The deployment is set to be operational by Summer 2025.
The partnership leverages Bulk Infrastructure’s N01 campus, which is powered by 100% renewable energy from adjacent hydropower stations and features direct connections to one of Europe’s largest transformer stations. Bulk has secured 400 MW of capacity at the site, with scalability up to 1 GW, meeting the high-performance demands of AI workloads. This initiative aligns with CoreWeave’s broader $2.2 billion investment to build AI-focused data centers across Europe.
Norwegian officials and project partners view the collaboration as a boost to Norway’s digital infrastructure ambitions and a step toward establishing the country as a key AI hub in Europe. The partnership supports growing AI and high-performance computing (HPC) demand in the region while focusing on sustainable infrastructure.
