Digital Realty Standardizes on HPE Private Cloud

Digital Realty has selected HPE’s Private Cloud Business Edition to modernize infrastructure across its global portfolio of over 300 data centers. The company will standardize operations across six continents with HPE’s self-managed, scalable private cloud platform to enhance workload performance, security, and operational resilience in support of hyperscalers, Fortune 10s, and major enterprise clients.

HPE’s platform will replace disparate infrastructure with a unified, SaaS-delivered solution that automates lifecycle management and simplifies administration through a single interface. Digital Realty will also deploy the new HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 system, featuring scale-out block storage with guaranteed 100% availability, predictive analytics, and cross-stack visibility to improve workload management and lower total cost of ownership (TCO).

The rollout is being supported by HPE partners Infradax and World Wide Technology (WWT), following a competitive evaluation of other storage-centric solutions. Digital Realty cited HPE’s innovation roadmap, disaggregated storage architecture, and integrated management as key factors in its decision to consolidate on the Business Edition platform.

• Digital Realty to deploy HPE Private Cloud Business Edition across 300+ data centers in 25+ countries

• Solution includes HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 with scale-out block storage and 100% availability

• Partnership aims to streamline mission-critical ops with full automation and unified control

• Evaluation and rollout supported by Infradax and WWT

• HPE claims up to 2.5X TCO reduction versus competing platforms

“We own and operate world-edge data centers across a global footprint that requires a technology platform to scale with the growing demands of our customers,” said Faramarz Mahdavi, VP of IT infrastructure and operations at Digital Realty.
