Fujitsu’s FLASHWAVE 4500 MSPP has met energy efficiency standards under the Telecommunications Energy Efficiency Ratio (TEER) metric released by ATIS.
The TEER standard provides a comprehensive methodology for measuring and reporting energy consumption as well as quantifying a network component’s ratio of work performed to energy consumed.
Fujitsu noted that several of the nation’s largest telecom service providers are currently using the ATIS TEER metric as a basis for evaluating network equipment under their procurement processes.http://us.fujitsu.com/telecom
